0 out of 5 stars I do NOT recommend this DVD. Reviewed in Canada on July 2, 2020 Verified Purchase Not impressed with this movie at all. Too much focus on booze, drugs and partying. There was so much more to this band, yeah they partied, to put 100% focus on it isn't right. It is disrespectful to RVZ, Steve Gaines, Dean Kilpatrick and Cassie Gaines. I will not be recommending this to friends. Didn't even mention Gary Rossington who IS Lynyrd Skynyrd. If you are a true Skynyrd fan you will be disappointed. 1. 0 out of 5 stars Terrible! Reviewed in Canada on July 13, 2020 Verified Purchase What a gong show & insult to any Skynyrd's fan intelligence! Huge Lynyrd Skynyrd fan from day one, followed & loved them to a tee & still do! Had to get this movie with reluctance. Totally a B-movie script in all shapes & form. I respect Artimus, as the (not original drummer) long time drummer. But the movie would have better been called "the Artimus Pyle Hero story". Shame shame on you & everyone else involved in this totally unrealistic story!
Li Zehua was a former CCTV music video host who quit his job to pursue independent journalism amidst the Coronavirus outbreak. His videos in Wuhan highlighted the difficulties of living in a locked-down city. In one video he bought and donated food to the homeless migrant population stuck on the streets in Wuhan. His series ended in a dramatic car chase and standoff with police outside his apartment door and culminated with his disapereance. His story has received the least press coverage out of the three. Why are international news organizations hesitant to report on unsanctioned reports out of China? The answer probably has to do with a few factors. One reason, for not amplifying stories from Chinese amateur reporters on the ground, is likely due to the safety of those journalists themselves. By sharing the stories of local Chinese, western media could be putting a larger target on the backs of those journalists who are already risking their lives to share their stories as it is. Other, more concerning, scenarios have been uncovered in recent times that show the Chinese state's direct control over international news outlets.
