Psycho for example, is a movie that challenges our perception of what the real evil and monsters are in the world, and the answer is bleak but on point: it is us, when our feral and sadistic nature takes hold. It is when the sickened end up embracing their loss or over-abundance for humanity that drives them to do either the unspoken, or the unthinkable. That is a dissection of just 1 movie out of MANY to cover. I understand the time constraint, but I'll be damned if they didn't gloss over a bunch of movies that were well worth mention that never made even an appearance. Partially because it felt like the Directors' flexes, partially to drive the narrative of violence=bad (which is fine), and another to take political ideals to the front seats. To put it bluntly: a good historical reference on horror movies that changed its genre of American Cinema; not a good EXPLORATION on what the directors were conceiving for their movies, nor the movies they talk about. But, definitely a that's what a documentary is: a feature film that is meant to inform, invest, and take you into a new exploratory realm of thought.

Yet the sad irony isn't the repetitive nature of his existence, but the fact that the cop who'll put him away (in the process maiming Miklo in a shootout) is Paco, having been tipped off by a dejected, disrespected Popeye, who the "fluorescent skinned" ex-con punked out for the job. The system Paco has bought into is a mirrored opposite of his cousin's, and no less oppressive. At one point near the climax, his partner (Thomas F. Wilson) shouts at the Latino cop about how he shouldn't care that a bunch of Chicano gang members are offing each other in San Quentin (all due to a power coup Miklo is orchestrating). Their deaths have no effect on the outside world. But for Paco and Miklo, the prison walls barely separate their overlapping operations, one trying to prevent the other. The violence spills out into the streets the cops are working, but once he gains an actual lead on his own blood, outside agencies swoop in to try and scoop the case away from East LA. Seems there's no trusting one of these barrio men on either side of the badge, but Paco isn't going to let his own cousin's business go unfinished without him.
Mama needs luxury ammenities. Shugie says he'll lift her…. with a craine? Mama caint help because, "Bein voluptuous heat and me don't mix. " Appar'ntly that's why she doesn't eat in the summer. Mmmmhhhhmmm… cue flash backs to last week's weigh in and the scale chugging to reach the number 317. Oh, Mama… After getting part-way through pool construction, Shugie and heat don't mix and the whole bam fambly retreats inside to eat. The next day (or several days) Shugie finishes the pool, which consisted of stuffing some metal poles into what looked like a tarp. Honey Boo Boo loves it so much she is trading in her pageant crowns for fins and becoming a fish. Maybe Little Mermaid can be her next pageant theme. Shugie predicts it will be broken within two months, a mere hours later the redneck cure-all (aka duct tape) has already been dispatched. My mom liberally uses the duct tape handbook. After telling us she doesn't eat the Boo Boo family goes out to eat at a pig museum, OK actually it was a BBQ restaurant.
