I've lurked around and made a few random posts here and there, but really wanted to step up my game and get more involved, so I figured a formal intro was in order. After the questionnaire, I list my collection and the latest titles from my B&N haul. Looking forward to being more active! Where are you from? All over, really. Currently reside in Chicago, IL. How old are you? 36 When did you start collecting Criterion? 1997. One of the first DVDs I ever bought was Seven Samurai. Do you collect Blu-ray or DVD? Started with DVD, now only Blu. What is your favorite Criterion release? No way could I choose only one, but if forced, I suppose I'd go with the Seven Samurai upgrade. Maybe the Cassavetes box set. What is your least favorite Criterion release? Don't have one yet. Who is your favorite director in the collection? Kurosawa. Antonioni. Cassavetes. Melville. Tarkovsky. Rossellini. Suzuki. Anderson... I can't. All of them. Most of them. Who is your favorite director outside of the collection?
